Hi. We are Zack Barkers Mom and Sister; Holly and Tori.

Zack slid around a corner on Chapman Corners Road, hydroplaned, went off the road, hit a tree and the (my) car caught on fire. He remembers nothing. I don’t know if he was ejected or crawled out or what.

Shattered right femur. Possible ankle fracture. 4 broken right ribs, 6 broken on the left. Break in left hip joint/ pelvis. Collapsed left lung. Facial lacerations. About 14 stitches in right eyelid and to repair torn skin above eye. He’s missing most of his right eyebrow. May have debris in the far back of right eye. Has glass embedded into his face.

Penetrating trauma to right knee joint space.

Zack will be out of work for a while after a lengthy hospital stay. He will need help whether he is at home or at a family’s home to recover.

The towing charge for the car was $1,172 alone.
