Hello! This is Matrika, Zach’s wife, I just want to start by saying thank you to every single person who has reached out. The messages, prayers, and love have meant more to us than I could ever express.

As many of you already know, Zach was hit by a delivery vehicle while riding his bike, and his injuries are very serious:

• 5 broken ribs

• A bruised and punctured/collapsed left lung

• A broken radius in his right arm

• Left shoulder dislocation

• Extensive road rash, cuts, and bruising

• Severe hip and back pain

Zach is still in the hospital and we still haven’t received all the injury results yet. More tests are being done, and we’re waiting on additional imaging and evaluations. I will update as we learn more.

This has been overwhelming in every way, especially because Zach’s medical insurance from his new job hasn’t taken effect yet, and he is the main provider for our young family. This is a hardship we never expected to face.

I am not someone who asks for help easily, and that is truly not why I’m posting this. I only created a GoFundMe because so many of you have reached out asking how you could donate or support us during this incredibly difficult time. With everything happening so suddenly, it really is the easiest way to keep everyone updated.

We are honestly beyond blessed to still have Zach here with us it could have been so much worse. I am grateful every single second, but I also know the next weeks and months are going to be extremely hard on him and on our family.
