On Thursday, May 28th, my husband Zach was involved in a devastating moped vs car accident. It was a devastating accident and he died on the scene, but thanks to the incredible efforts of first responders, he was brought back and life flighted to two different hospitals back to back. Since then, Zach has been undergoing daily procedures and facing a long road ahead—weeks, months, or even years of care and recovery.
The emotional toll has been overwhelming, but the financial strain is just beginning. Medical bills are already piling up, and we know there will be many more as Zach continues to fight for his health. We're doing everything we can to support him, including exploring secondary insurance and VA benefits, but we need help to stay ahead of these mounting costs.
For 12 years, Zach proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, dedicating himself to the mission and the soldiers alongside him. As a generator and diesel mechanic with the 38th Infantry Division Headquarters and Headquarters Company (HHC), he worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure critical equipment and operations remained running. He was frequently placed on orders with the 38th Infantry Division to assist with DOIM setup and support, always answering the call whenever he was needed. Zach's years of service reflect his strong work ethic, seflessness, and commitment to others. Just as he spent years serving and supporting others, we are now asking for support for Zach as he begins this challenging journey ahead.
Any little bit helps, even if it's just prayers or sharing his story. Your support means the world to us as we navigate this uncertain journey. Thank you for considering a donation to help Zach get the care he needs and to ease the burden on his family. Zach is a father, a brother, a friend, and we look forward too him seeing the village surrounding him when he wakes up. His son's mother Ashley and I are working side by side on his behalf, on this campaign, and with all steps moving forward; and we appreciate you all greatly, thank you.
