Hello friends,

By now, you’ve heard about Zach’s battle with a rare form of bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma). This October, two and a half years after his diagnosis, his condition took a sharp turn, and Zach and his family are now left with one treatment option.

The procedure is called a histotripsy. The cost is uninsurable, so for all of us who have been trying to find a place to help, this is likely our best shot.

All funds will go to Zach's mom and sister to cover the out-of-pocket cost of treatment ($33,000). Any additional funds raised will help relieve the travel and medical costs for his family from the procedure and beyond.

For those who love him, you’d be proud to know he’s actively calling the Knicks out on defense every game, rewatching "Once Upon a Time in America" on Blu-ray, and thinking about his next great story to tell. His stubbornness, his thoughtfulness, and his humor ebb and flow.
