Hi, my name is Zachary Sheikh. I’m 25 years old and I’ve been battling Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer, for most of my life. I was diagnosed in 2009, when I was just eight years old, shortly after my father passed away. The latest recurrence has been going for about 3 years, with tumors developing in my heart, head, and abdomen. It’s been an extremely hard road full of invasive surgeries, extensive chemotherapy, and radiation treatments that have left me debilitated and a shell of the person I worked so hard to become over the past 16 years.

In my early years dealing with all of my health issues and treatments, I found joy in comics, manga, and movies. It became a dream of mine to one day help others by creating the same things that helped me get through my hard times. For years it was always just a dream, but in 2025 a charity organization called the Nikolas Ritschel Foundation made it a reality! Through Nik's Wish, I was able to connect with comics industry professionals who worked with me over the year to create the first issue of my new comic series, SKYHAVEN! Making this book has been an incredible experience and I can’t wait for people to read it. However, I still want to finish the series and bring the story to a satisfying conclusion.

In spite of my condition and physically demanding, mentally taxing treatments, I've continued to write the rest of the series. But due to my overall health and inability to maintain employment, I cannot fund the remaining issues without financial assistance.
