I am a paramedic who works both in EMS and in a hospital emergency room. My career is built around helping people during the worst moments of their lives and providing the physical support they need to survive and recover. Recently, I suffered a severe distal bicep rupture that requires surgical repair and a long rehabilitation period. This injury has left me unable to perform the physical duties required for patient care, including lifting and moving patients safely. Because of this, I will be out of full duty for an extended period of time and limited to light duty work with reduced hours. As a result, my income will be significantly affected while I also face substantial medical expenses related to surgery, rehabilitation, and recovery.

I am working hard to heal and return to the profession I love, but this unexpected injury has created a financial strain that I cannot manage alone. I am asking for support to help cover medical bills, basic living expenses, and the cost of recovery while I work toward regaining full strength and returning to caring for my community.
