Support Zachary's Kidney Transplant Journey

Hello everyone!!! For everyone that knows me and for you who don’t. My name is Zachary Short I’m a 33 year old father from Plainfield Indiana, that is in stage 5 kidney failure on dialysis. I’ve been on dialysis for about two years now. I just recently have gotten primary custody of both my daughters (June my 4 year old and Luna my 2 year old.). I’m a blue collar worker who doesn’t ask much in return. My goal is to be able to raise my kids and hopefully one day see/raise my grandchildren. My family/children would be forever grateful if you help me through this life- changing kidney journey. These funds will be going to the recovery process once a donor is found! The recovery process will require not only time but also financial resources to ensure that I receive the care, support, and rehabilitation I need to regain my health and independence. The road to recovery after a kidney transplant is both physically and financially demanding. I will need to undergo frequent medical appointments before and after transplantation, medication, and necessary treatments to ensure the success of the transplant. Additionally, the recovery period will likely mean taking time off work and other financial hardships that make it difficult to cover all expenses.
