Our hearts are completely shattered as we mourn the sudden and tragic loss of Zachary Tyler Grunwald-Sikora, Brigette Bondy and Erika Grunwald's little cousin. On the morning of August 19, 2026, Zachary was involved in a fatal car accident while on his way to work. He was only 21 years old. Zachary was a hardworking, loving young man who lived entirely for his family. He was what Brigette would call an old soul: caring, empathetic, kind, and loving. He didn’t just light up a room, he calmed the room with humor and emotional maturity.

Zachary leaves behind his partner and the mother of his children, Alivia, and his two beautiful young daughters, Amilia and Anna. He also leaves behind his heartbroken parents, his mother, Chelsea Grunwald Burgos, his dad, Alejandro Burgos, who loved and raised him as his true father, and his biological dad, Brian Sikora, with whom he shared a meaningful connection, along with his younger brother Nicholas and younger sister Kaylina Burgos, whom he loved dearly. Zachary’s world revolved around being a good father, a devoted partner, a loving son, a loving brother, and building a bright future for the people he loved most. Now, in the blink of an eye, that future has been taken away.
