Support Zach Swafford's Road to Recovery

Story

Zach Swafford, husband to Amanda and father of Owen, Scarlett and Clayton (all under 6) and a marine veteran, was involved in a very serious motorcycle accident on July 3rd, where he suffered serious injuries. Zach was life-flighted to Regional One Trauma Center in Memphis to the ICU. Zach will be receiving care here and Amanda will be making trips back and forth, while she also cares for their children who are 85 miles away. Zach's injuries include: an open book break in his pelvis in the front and other breaks on the right side and in the back. He is going to need screws and wires and a plate installed. He has a fracture in his right knee, where it was dislocated at the kneecap. He also has a broken right ankle that will most likely need a screw or 2 as well. His right hand is fractured and his fibula is broken. He has damage in his right carotid artery. It's called a Pseudo Aneurysm. He also has 2 blood clots on the left side of his neck. It’s going to be a long road to recovery. Zach was leaving work on his motorcycle when a minivan failed to look and turned in front of him. He hit her passenger side and flew over her hood onto the pavement. Fortunately , his manager and another coworker witnessed the accident and were able to pull him off the road to safety. By the grace of God, Zach is alive. The van was so damaged, it also had to be towed. Zach needs prayers that his surgeries will go successfully. That the blood clots will be dissolved. He needs prayer for insurance to go through quickly to cover medical bills. And his family could really use financial support while he is out of work. While his wife works, he is the main breadwinner in the home and most of the financial burden relies on him. If you have the ability to help in any amount, please do. And please pray for Zach! He is such an amazing father, husband, son and brother!!
