Local Hero Zach Scott, 22, a young man from Bangor, Maine, was visiting a church- Calvary Chapel Corinth, when a high-speed police chase happened to cross his path. The car that was fleeing from the police pulled into the church parking lot, and Zach Scott heroically got into his truck and rammed his vehicle into the vehicle that was fleeing the police, ending the high-speed chase and being hailed a hero by the police. During this engagement, in the process of it, his truck was completely totaled. No one was seriously injured, but I’m making this GoFundMe as his friend to try to get the funds raised for him to buy a new vehicle to support his heroic actions of putting his life on the line to assist the police force in apprehending this fleeing criminal, and possibly saving lives that were being seriously endangered by the high speed chase.
