My name is Zac Campilonga, me and my grandmother Rayleen Campilonga was involved in a head on collision on 03/22/2025 heading home from my moms. We are both lucky to still be here today.. on my side luckily the only injuries I occurred was some cuts and scrapes, a couple bruised ribs, and some pulled muscle on my right side. My grandmother unfortunately broke her right femur and fractured her pelvis.. as the impact of the crash primarily hit her side.. she had successful surgery on her femur however is still in intensive care unit.. on 03/29/2025 she had to have a tracheotomy put in to help her breathe as she couldn't breathe properly on her own.. Since her surgeries she has been awake and able to look at us, she's unable to to talk at the moment. We are still learning the next steps for her regarding when she is able to get out of ICU, physical therapy, rehab, and speech therapy to name a few.. right now I could really use the help for me and my grandmother.. everyday I drive from Mooresville to Charlotte to spend time with her.. on 04/04/2025 I have to return my rental car my insurance provided me, as my insurance was able to pay off my car but now un able to get a car to see my grandmother.. all I ask is if you can please share this and spread the word it would mean so much to me and my family..
