My name is Justin, and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my mother, Yvonne, who is currently hospitalized at KU Medical Center fighting leukemia. She is expected to remain there for roughly the next two months as she undergoes treatment.

During this time, my mom is unable to work. While she does have short-term disability, it has not yet begun, and when it does, much of it will go toward covering her health insurance to ensure she can continue receiving the life-saving care she needs. Unfortunately, everyday expenses don’t stop — bills, housing costs, and basic living needs continue even while she’s in the hospital.

This fund is meant to help ease that financial burden so my mom can focus fully on what matters most right now: healing and getting stronger. Any donation, share, or kind message is deeply appreciated and makes more of a difference than we can express.
