Yvonne has been a friend to so many over the years—a kind, generous, and caring soul who always puts others first. A lifelong Las Vegan, she is a proud alumna of Bishop Gorman High School and UNLV. With over 30 years of dedicated service to the State of Nevada, Yvonne has made a lasting impact through her work at the Nevada Gaming Control Board and now at the Nevada Transportation Authority.

If you know Yvonne, you know she’s full of life—an avid pickleball player, health-conscious, and someone who always encourages others to stay active and embrace life to the fullest.

But now, our dear friend is facing an unimaginable battle. Yvonne has been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer, a diagnosis that has shaken all of us who love her. She has already undergone major surgery to remove the cancer, and in the coming months, she will continue treatments to fight this disease head-on.

With her strong spirit and her incredible "friend tribe" standing by her side, we are rallying together to support Yvonne and her family during this difficult time. While she focuses on healing, she will be unable to work, and despite having medical insurance, the out-of-pocket expenses for treatments, medications, and daily living costs will add up quickly.
