I’m raising funds for my mother, Yvette, as my family faces the heartbreaking reality of saying goodbye. Yvette was diagnosed with cancer in 2021, but she had likely been living with it longer and trying to manage it on her own. After treatment helped in 2023, the cancer came back. She went through surgery on her neck, and later brain surgery in 2025. Yvette passed away on October 14, 2026 at 1:08 on Wednesday afternoon.

This has been an incredibly painful time for all of us. I’m a single mother, and it has been me, my mom, my siblings, and a few cousins trying to carry this together. Our family is on a fixed income, and along with everything we are facing emotionally, we have also been dealing with hospital costs and related expenses.

Right now, I’m asking for help with Yvette’s funeral arrangements. Any support would help ease the financial burden on our family and allow us to focus on being together during this time.
