Hi everyone! This is my beautiful sister Yvette! She is weeks away from turning 39 years old but was just dealt the worst card of her life.
On May 13th, she went into the ER due to overwhelming pain in her abdomen. That same night, only hours later, the doctor came in to tell her that he suspected she had ovarian cancer. She called our mom, and my parents rushed to be by her side. She was hospitalized and had a few procedures done throughout the week. On Friday, May 16th, we were given confirmation that she has stage 4 ovarian cancer that has spread to her abdomen and chest.
Since her diagnosis, she has been in and out of the hospital, and liters upon liters have been drained from her body of fluid the cancer is producing. While the cancer is not curable, we are hopeful that with chemotherapy and eventually surgery, it can be treated.
I am reaching out and asking for you to please donate anything you can to help my sister out. If you can find it in your heart to donate, I would be forever grateful and thankful. If you can’t donate, please keep my sister Yvette and our family, especially our mom who has left her job to take care of Yvette full-time, in your prayers.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and God bless.
