With the permission of our dear friends Yvette and Samuel Hernandez, we are sharing their story during this painful time.

On August 1, 2025, Yvette and Sam welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Analeia Samara into the world. Baby Analeia was born sleeping.

What should have been a day filled with joy became a day of unimaginable heartbreak. Yvette and Sam were faced with the devastating reality of saying both hello and goodbye to their daughter in the same moment.

Instead of choosing between bottle or breastfed, Huggies or Pampers, they are now forced to make impossible decisions, between burial or cremation, coffin or urn. These are choices no parent should ever have to make.

Watching my friends endure this kind of pain has been heartbreaking beyond words. I want to help lift at least one burden from their shoulders, the financial weight that comes during a time like this.
