Help Yuri Stay in Gymnastics After the Loss of His Dad
On Saturday, August 2nd, Max passed away after a battle with throat cancer. He leaves behind his wife, Natalya, and their two sons, including Yuri, a talented young gymnast with big dreams and even bigger potential.
Yuri has trained alongside my son Christian for eight years, across three gyms in Charlotte. Yuri is a strong gymnast and a supportive teammate. He placed first at Nationals two years in a row at Level 8, and he’s one of the hardest-working kids we've seen. At 13, he’s seen as one of the top gymnastic athletes in USAG Region 4 and North Carolina.
With Max gone, Natalya is now a single mother who must work to support both her boys. This fund is to help keep Yuri in the sport he loves by covering training costs, competition fees, travel, and transportation for the upcoming season.
Our community believes in Yuri. We know what he’s capable of, and we want to make sure nothing stands in his way.
Thank you for helping this incredible kid continue his journey.
