Hi everyone,
My name is Frida, and I’m creating this fundraiser for someone who means so much to me.
Yunii is one of the kindest, strongest, and most selfless people you could ever meet. She’s an incredible wife, a devoted mom of two, and the kind of person who is always showing up for others—whether it’s her friends, her family, or the SWFL community she’s so deeply a part of.
Her son, Alessio, has Williams syndrome—a rare genetic condition that requires ongoing specialized care, therapy, and support. Yunii and her husband work tirelessly to give him every opportunity possible. Their lives are centered around making sure he has access to the care, resources, and experiences he deserves.
This July, their family has the opportunity to attend the Williams Syndrome Association National Convention 2026 in Buffalo, New York.
This isn’t just a trip.
It’s a chance for Alessio to meet other children just like him—something that doesn’t happen often. It’s also an opportunity for Yunii and her husband to connect with specialists, learn from experts, and gain resources that simply aren’t available to them locally. Most importantly, it’s a chance for their entire family to feel supported, understood, and not alone in this journey.
Unfortunately, the cost of making this trip happen has become overwhelming. Between convention registration, flights, hotel, food, and transportation, it quickly adds up for a family of four traveling from Florida.
Our goal is to raise $4,500 to help cover:
•Convention registration
•Flights for the family
•Hotel stay during the event
•Food and transportation
If you’re able to donate, even a small amount, it would truly make a difference. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing this page would mean just as much.
Thank you for supporting Yunii, Alessio, and their family—it truly means more than words can express
— Frida
