What would you do if, at your 40s, someone suddenly told you that you might only have a couple of years left to live? Maybe one year… maybe even less?
What would you do if your life depended on treatment you simply couldn’t afford?
What would you say to your 10-year-old beautiful daughter and your husband — the people who survived a war-damaged home with you, stood by you through brain surgery, and love you so deeply that they refuse to accept such a terrifying reality?
How would you wake up every morning, exhausted from chemotherapy, trying to hold on to hope? Would you give up?
This is what happened to my close friend Yulia from Kharkiv.
Her diagnosis came out of nowhere — like a shock, like a storm dropping out of a clear sky. One day she felt tired… and the next day she was told she has stage IV ovarian cancer.
It’s a brutal reminder that none of us are protected from life changing in an instant.
At this stage, surgery is no longer an option, but modern treatment can slow the disease, reduce pain, and — most importantly — give her more precious time with her family.
But the treatment costs about $2,000 per month.
For a regular Ukrainian family, this is impossible to afford.
For Yulia, this treatment isn’t just medicine — it’s hope. It’s a chance. Her chance to live longer, to suffer less, and to stay with her daughter for as long as possible.
Even the smallest donation can make a real difference.
Together, we can give Yulia what she is fighting so desperately for:
time — time to live, time to love, time to stay.
