Hello everyone my name is Renee Hudson and I'am fundraising for my sister in law Yulanda Hudson. In July 2016 Yulanda was diagnosed with left breast cancer. The diagnosis came four months after losing her beloved father whom she affectionately called "Daddy" in February of 2016. In 2019 the cancer began spreading to her brain, bones and lungs and so she now has stage IV metastasis breast cancer. With a resilient mindset she has dealt with her diagnosis with a matter of fact approach while undergoing radiation treatments, hormone therapies and radioactive injections. Far removed from hopelessness through the insurmountable pain as a grandmother of 9 and one on the way her will to survive is in the love for her grandchildren and family. Although metastatic cancer may not subside entirely, there are a number of treatments which can manage it for the time being. With your support Yulanda alongside her contagious smile and laugh which we were all grateful to get back after her treatment of the cancer on her skull would like to extend her treatment to a restorative retreat. This retreat will afford her the opportunity to allow her to focus solely on recovery in a environment that lends itself to aiding cancer patients to live each day to the fullest. Cared for and nurtured by the love of her life and husband of 25 years we her family and friends thank you for your prayers, support and donations. They are all very much appreciated.
