Support Ysa Bayani's Mission Trip Journey

Hello everyone! As a Link year student, I have the opportunity to spend a month on an international trip with others in my class. This year, we have the option of traveling to New Zealand or the Bahamas. I have yet to hear about which trip I have been chosen for, although I am beyond excited for the opportunity.

Going on a mission trip is something I've always wanted to do. In John 13:34-35, Jesus says, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another" As we have been called to love one another, having the opportunity to express Christ's love in a new environment with those who desire to do the same would mean the world to me.

In the past, Link Year students had the option to work with residents in Eleuthera, Bahamas. They have many kinds of projects, including local outreach ministries such as Young Life, going to schools to help teach English, providing after-school tutoring, and improving the quality of houses in need of repair for families in the area.

To participate in this mission trip, I need to raise $3,500. The money will be used for transportation, food, shelter, and other emergency expenses in case of medical emergencies. With full integrity, all earnings will go directly to fundraising for this mission trip. With those who have donated, I would like to send you email updates and images of what our mission trip is up to as well!

I am incredibly happy for the opportunity to not only grow spiritually but also to serve and overflow with the Lord's love. I am passionate about ministry and am excited to be on this mission trip with such incredible leaders and staff at Link Year who have led mission trips all around the world, including Egypt, South Africa, the Bahamas, and Peru. I am convinced that our trip will benefit both those serving and those receiving aid in the area where we will travel.
