Support The Future, Today
Earth Guardians is a global climate-justice nonprofit training people under 30 to lead catalytic climate solutions in their communities & for the planet.
While the past year brought its share of climate challenges: record heat, unpredictable seasons, and environmental stress on communities everywhere, something else has been happening too:
In 2025, tens of thousands of young people around the world turned fear into focus, worry into wisdom, and concern into concrete action. Across the world, young people are stepping up to protect their communities, cultures, and futures. Becoming some of the most effective, creative, and determined climate leaders on Earth
& Earth Guardians is where that leadership starts and grows.
With your support, they’re ready to do even more in 2026.
What Your Support Makes Possible: Earth Guardians’ 2025 Impact
Earth Guardians now guides 120 active youth-led Crews across 42 countries, directly serving 1,200+ young leaders under 30 annually. Each Crew is advancing climate justice solutions through restoring ecosystems, protecting water sources, regenerating food systems, and uplifting community wellbeing.
This year, Earth Guardians achieved extraordinary milestones:
- 79,900 trees planted reforesting degraded lands, cooling neighborhoods, restoring biodiversity, and improving local food sovereignty.
- ️ 15,000+ kilograms of trash removed from rivers, beaches, wetlands, rural, and urban communities throughout the global south and Europe.
- 63 youth-led environmental projects funded in 31 countries through the EG project grant project directly supporting 16,000 people and reaching over 82,000 more - including micro-plastic clean ups, regenerative energy initiatives, pollinator gardens and more.
- 20,000+ community members reached through Crew-led workshops, cleanups, school programs, agricultural trainings, and cultural gatherings.
- Speakers Bureau engaged 3,150 people through Earth Guardians’ majority BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ speakers, bringing climate justice, storytelling, and leadership tools to classrooms, conferences, and legislatures.
- 35,000+ people reached through EG’s free educational resources such as digital and in-person global training, global Crew calls, and masterclasses on biodiversity, regenerative agriculture, climate policy, and Traditional Ecological Knowledge.
- Indigenous Youth Initiative hosted its 5th annual in person training with 20 youth leaders from 20 Tribal Nations from across the country for a powerful 6-day climate justice and cultural leadership training that strengthens identity, community, and future stewardship.
And behind every one of these numbers is a human story,
a young person learning that their voice matters,
their culture matters,
their land matters,
and their leadership can transform lives.
A Story of Hope: The 300-Hectare Community Forest in Togo
One of the most inspiring examples of our youth-led climate resilience is unfolding right now in Togo, where Earth Guardians Crews are restoring a 300-hectare community food forest. A multiyear, multi-phase project rooted in ancestral knowledge and regenerative agriculture.
Since 2023, they have:
- Restored 50 hectares
- Planted 21,000 trees
- Trained 200+ women and men in agroecology
- Led bushfire mitigation workshops
- ️ Conducted GIS spatial analyses to ensure long-term forest protection
This is not a short-term project.
This is generational stewardship.
Youth in Togo are building a forest that their community’s children will harvest from, learn in, and rely on today and long after this moment in time. This is what Earth Guardians makes possible.
Why We’re Raising $60,000 Before December 31
To meet the growing need for youth climate justice training, Indigenous and Black leadership support, and global environmental education and career pathways, we need to raise $60,000 before the end of the year. This gofundme is a portion of our EOY fundraising efforts. Help make it a success!
Your contribution will directly support:
- -Program leadership (35%) — The team that mentors Crews, builds campaigns, leads trainings, and nurtures youth leadership worldwide.
- -Trainings & Youth Development (30%) — Expanding the Speakers Bureau, supporting in-person trainings, and hosting the 2026 Indigenous Youth Initiative.
- -Crew honorariums (15%) — Ensuring all 120+ Crews have the monetary resources needed to restore land, protect water, and support community resilience.
- -Development of a Digital Resource Portal (10%) — A free self paced global platform curriculum that centers EG’s 30+ years of climate education, leadership training, and green-jobs opportunities, along with mentorship from global partners.
- -Organizational infrastructure (10%) — Strengthening the internal systems that make all of this possible.
This funding isn’t abstract. It goes directly into the hands of young people doing real, measurable work.
Help us raise $60,000 by December 31 so youth can continue leading the way toward a more just, sustainable, and resilient world.
