Support Youth Lacrosse in Ireland

Donation protected

While we’re all celebrating Ireland this St. Patrick’s Day, a group of incredible young athletes are working hard to represent our country for the very first time at an international lacrosse tournament in Wales (April 10th–13th).

These are Ireland’s first-ever U15 and U18 teams to compete abroad — a historic moment for Irish lacrosse!

It was only in 2019 that our U19 National Team was formed, largely because so few young players had access to lacrosse at that time. Now, as the sport has grown, we have players as young as 13 picking up a lacrosse stick — but these young athletes have never had the chance to compete in games with players their own age. This trip will give them that crucial opportunity to develop their skills and discover the joy of playing competitive, friendly matches.

Unfortunately, with rising accommodation and travel costs, we’ve found ourselves short on funds to make this dream a reality. That’s why, this St. Patrick’s Day, we’re asking our friends, family, and community to help us send these players to proudly wear the Ireland jersey.

Whether you donate €5 or €50, every bit helps get these players on the field and makes history for Ireland Lacrosse. If we meet our goal to cover transport, food, and accommodation for players and staff, any extra funds raised will go toward providing team apparel to these young athletes.

Let’s make this Paddy’s Day one to remember — for them and for Irish sport.

Thank you in advance!
