Urgent Assistance for Abu Zayed Family to Survive and Escape
Donation protected

My name is Jessica, and I'm from Virginia. I'm organizing this campaign for my dear friends, the Abu Zayed family in Palestine. All funds donated to this fund will go directly to the family through safe and reliable means for hygiene products, tents, cooking supplies, food, clothing, education, and ultimately their survival and health.

Seeing and hearing their stories is a blessing; they are still alive. Join us in our support and prayers. They have nothing but love in their hearts.

Please read this as if we were a member of your family—perhaps your brother, or your sister, or your son or daughter, or your friend.
My name is Yousef Abu Zayed, I am 22 years old, from Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip. Let me share with you the story of my family. We are 11 people.
On May 4, 2024, we received news of a bombing in Rafah, and we fled west to safe areas. Two days after our escape, the bombing of the area began. We moved to Khan Yunis city, then north to Mawasi Khan Yunis. To this day, the bombing continues. The army targets both safe and unsafe areas nearby. We suffer from explosions and continuous clashes day and night. When a member of my family falls ill, there is no medical center or hospital nearby, nor is there any medicine or treatment. My family and I suffer from skin allergies and toothaches due to the lack of hygiene supplies. My mother and father suffer from chronic illnesses such as high blood pressure and diabetes, which are incurable. The fragile existence in Mawasi Khan Yunis. We live in unbearable conditions. Our shelter is a tattered tent, exposed to the bitter cold and the constant threat of insects. I struggle to care for my family in a place with no clean water, no electricity, and no hope. My family's dreams are fading; my younger sister, Wijdan, is supposed to start high school this year, but under the harsh conditions, this seems impossible. Winter's Shadow and Our Dire Needs
Winter is looming, bringing with it the prospect of flooding and bitterly cold nights. We lack adequate clothing, food, and medical supplies. My family endures the bitterly cold nights with nothing but thin blankets, and our health deteriorates as Gaza's hospitals continue to overflow with patients. I have exhausted every means to protect my family, but our resources are scarce. We desperately need help. To survive the bitter cold of winter and survive this nightmare, we must be prepared.
Hope to Escape and Rebuild
My dream is to secure a future for my family, far from the horrors of war. We hope to raise $50,000 to escape to Egypt, where we can rebuild our lives and provide the basics: warmth, education, and stability. The journey requires $5,000 per person—a seemingly exorbitant sum. Your generosity can make this dream a reality.
Your support can change our lives.
Every donation brings us one step closer to survival. Your generosity could provide my family with shelter, food, and a chance to rebuild their lives. The suffering of displaced families in Gaza is immense, but with your support, we can find hope amidst the despair. Donate to our campaign. Together, we can light the way in the darkest of times.
(addition for those who will read this all the way through, Yousef has an infection from a wound in his foot. He still makes it to market when you all send money. And helps his siblings and parents. God bless him and God bless you for your time and donations.)

A Final Appeal for Compassion
As winter approaches, our need grows more urgent. I implore you to open your hearts and extend a helping hand to my family. May God reward you for your kindness and compassion. May your generosity be a beacon of hope to guide us through this ordeal.
Thank you for your patience in reading our story and for your continued support. Best regards
