Hi! My name is Tara. I'm the General Manager of TacoBaby. On the night of March 7th, 2024 we had a catastrophic event where the the brick face of our building collapsed... we were very fortunate that no one was hurt and our team is safe. At this time we don't know how long we will be closed or how extensive the repairs will be.

Luckily, we've got a great team of owners, insurance, and building engineers putting the pieces back together. If anyone has ever been in a car wreck, you know that insurance isn't a fast or easy process...

That being said, I'm starting this GoFundMe for everything else not covered by insurance. Our staff are like family and I want to make sure they are taken care of. There are still bills to be paid for them and business, and food to put on their tables. This has been a very emotional event for all of us and there is a lot of uncertainty ahead. Some have families, some only have this one job, and some have other responsibilities that all require financial assistance.

It takes a village to come back from a tragic event like this and anything will help our TacoBaby family. We have such a great team here that stepped up in this time of need and this is our way of helping them. We aim to retain our team members by offering support, ensuring they return to creating the delectable tacos and margaritas you love once we reopen! TacoBaby has given a lot to the community whether it be philanthropic efforts for Female Empowerment organizations, Military fundraisers, or the LGBTQ+ community or just providing a great dining experience, so now it's our turn to ask for help.
