We are seeking your support for Officers Fidoe, Pfeifer and Bartulovic, who have courageously exposed misconduct within the Twinsburg Police Department, only to face retaliation. These dedicated officers have filed a civil lawsuit against the City of Twinsburg and the Police Chief to seek justice and clear their names. Since the filing of the lawsuit, Officer Pfeifer is currently not allowed to work and is on Administrative Leave. However, Officers Fidoe and Bartulovic have been wrongfully terminated. The allegations against them are baseless, and they have strong evidence to support their innocence. Your contribution can help these officers fight for their rights, defend their reputations, and hold accountable those responsible for this unjust treatment.

Officer Dan Fidoe #65

Ofc. Fidoe is a decorated Marine combat veteran where he served as an infantry squad leader and achieved the rank of Sergeant. After Ofc. Fidoe's honorable service in the Marine Corps, he went on to the University of Phoenix, obtaining an Associates Degree and then the University of Ashland, where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. Ofc. Fidoe has 16 years of law enforcement experience, serving with the Twinsburg Police Department for 15 years.

During his time at Twinsburg, he was the Firearms Staff & Instructor for all weapons platforms, Hostage Rescue/Crisis Negotiation Certified through the FBI, Department Liaison for Holly Miktarian and her daughter Thea, certified as an Advanced HTCQB Instructor, Red Dot Instructor, Precision Rifle Instructor, Impact Munition Instructor and High Risk Traffic Stop Instructor, OTOA Red Team Instructor, Certified instructor for Stark State College, Substitute Teacher for Stark County Public Schools and Owner/Operator of Tier1 Operations LLC - a SWAT/Law Enforcement Consulting Company.

Ofc. Fidoe has also led as President of the Twinsburg Police Association, later obtained a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Bowling Green, promoted to Team Leader/Sniper on Metro SWAT and was awarded the SWAT physical fitness award for the last 7 years.

Ofc. Fidoe has been awarded a Mayoral Proclamation for OVI arrests, received an OVI award from NE Ohio MADD, re-organized the Field Training Program Manual, was the coordinator of Twinsburg Police Shop with a Cop program for 8 years and has taken underprivileged kids on over 500 shopping trips, a member of the committee for the Northern Summit County Shop with a Cop program where over 300 under-privileged kids are taken shopping each year.

Additionally, Ofc. Fidoe has lead as shift OIC the last 10 years. Ofc. Fidoe is a self-motivated individual that has regularly strived to improve the operations of the Twinsburg Police Department by improving the functionality and daily

tasks of its police officers, clerks, admin, and training of new personnel.

Officer Matt Pfeifer #70

Ofc. Pfeifer is a lifelong member of the Twinsburg community. Ofc. Pfeifer grew up in Twinsburg, graduated from Twinsburg High and went on to the University of Toledo where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. After college, Pfeifer returned to Twinsburg starting as a part-time Dispatcher and eventually becoming a full-time police officer for Twinsburg in 2013.

Since his time at Twinsburg, Ofc. Pfeifer was the OPBA bargaining unit director for the Twinsburg Police Patrol Officers’ Union from 2020-2023. Ofc. Pfeifer brought attention to, fought against, and successfully negotiated the removal of the city’s

harmful two tier pay system. Ofc. Pfeifer has 12 years of service with the Cleveland Clinic as a PRN Regional Police Officer, is a FAA certified Remote Pilot, and established the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Unit for the Twinsburg Police Department.

Ofc. Pfeifer has been awarded a Mayoral Proclamation in 2017 for lifesaving efforts on Todd Deranek - Mr. Deranek was involved in a motorcycle crash who was found unresponsive and not breathing. Ofc. Pfeifer was also featured on the documentary series Life 2.0 in 2021 for the use of a drone in locating and

helping to rescue a victim suffering a medical emergency while hiking in Center Valley Park.

His most recent endeavors, in 2023 Ofc. Pfeifer was a Candidate for the Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund Board of Trustees, which was endorsed by the Ohio Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association and endorsed by the National Association of Police Organizations.

Officer Olivia Bartulovic #85

Similar to Ofc. Pfeifer, Ofc. Bartulovic grew up in Twinsburg and has wanted to be a police officer since she was a little girl. After the death of our very own in 2008, Officer Joshua T. Miktarian, Ofc. Bartulovic made it her lifelong goal to become a police officer. Honoring Josh, his family, and finishing the career he started.

Ofc. Bartulovic graduated from Twinsburg High, and went on to the University of Mount Union where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice with a Concentration in Law Enforcement. Between the years 2011-2019, Bartulovic was a Twinsburg Police Explorer, completed a summer Internship through Twinsburg PD, received the Joshua T. Miktarian Scholarship Award, and received the Federal Bureau of Investigations - Special Agent Joe Russ Scholarship Award.

In 2019, Bartulovic was officially hired as a full-time police officer for the City of Twinsburg. During her time at Twinsburg, she was an instructor for Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, High Risk Traffic Stops, a Crisis Intervention Officer and a Member of Metro SWAT - Crisis Negotiator. Ofc. Bartulovic is certified through the FBI for Hostage Rescue/Crisis Negotiations, was the Treasurer for the Twinsburg Police Association, created new Domestic Violence Resource Sheets, assisted with the Field Training Program, created OVI cheat sheets for new officers and wanted to bring back the Twinsburg Police Explorer Program.

Ofc. Bartulovic has received a Mayoral Proclamation for performing CPR and saving two individuals lives in one shift. Received the American Heart Association - Life Saver Award, was nominated in 2023 through the National Association of Police Organizations - for the TOP COP Award and invited to Washington D.C.
