We are a committee of young Union workers trying to send 2 members to a conference with other young Union workers in Toronto. This conference will help us bridge gaps in understanding between other locals and allow us to have common goals as young workers. We are a fairly small union and need your help to send at least 1 member to this conference so we can get our voices out there.

Q: What is the YWCC?

A: Every two years, the International Young Workers Committee hosts the Young Workers Committee Conference, where active young members gather to learn about the history of the Local, gain valuable leadership skills, and network with stagehand kin from across the United States and Canada.

Q: What are these funds for?

A: Airfare and daily expenses, as the union will cover the hotel stay.

Q: What happens to the funds if we go over our goal?

A: Any unspent money will go back into our committee's general fund to be used for future projects, events, and endeavors.

Q: When is the deadline to donate?

A: Our cutoff date will be July 15th, 2026.
