Forward Step is a Frome-based organisation providing mentoring and English tutoring services. With over 30 years teaching experience, Alison supports children and young people (aged 7 to young adult) facing social, emotional or academic challenges - including those with SEND, ASD, ADHD or SEMH needs.

Forward Step provides a compassionate, child-centred approach that combines emotional well-being support with English tuition. The goal is to help every young person feel heard, motivated and able to manage the academic and social stresses of modern life.

Alongside a growing number of regular attendees, Forward Step supports those experiencing financial hardship. Alison offers a sliding scale of fees and often provides fully funded, reduced or free sessions.

Demand for this unique one-to-one support continues to rise - funding is urgently needed to ensure no child misses out in our community.
