Support young patients with NF!

Welcome to our crowdfunding campaign for this years NF Academy!

Let's introduce ourselves: we are a group of young people from all over Europe who like to have fun and enjoy life. Sounds familiar so far? Unfortunately, we also share something less recognizable: we suffer from neurofibromatosis (NF), a rare genetic disorder. This disease can cause tumours anywhere on the nerves in our bodies, and can cause many other health issues as well.

In order to learn how to become a patient advocate for NF we participated at the NF Academy, which is organized by a non-profit organization called NF Patients United. Last year the first NF Academy took place in Vienna and how successful it was! During one full week of education we were schooled about the latest medical developments about NF, learned how to dealing with the challenges NF causes and last but not least fine-tuned our presentation skills. With this knowledge we want to create more awareness about NF and help other people with NF deal with their disease. This year we want to give even more young people the opportunity to be educated as a patient advocate.

Therefore we need your help. Your contribution will give even more young people with NF the chance to learn skills how to be a advocate. And the more advocates there are, the greater the impact we can make!
