We are fundraising for 13 year old Jakob de Brum, a dedicated young athlete who has been training in Karate since the age of five. Jakob began his Karate journey at Can Do Martial Arts (CDMA) in Abingdon, where his passion and commitment for the sport first took shape. From day one, he has shown remarkable discipline, talent, and a true love for Karate.

Jakob’s Karate Journey

Jakob has worked incredibly hard to secure his place on the JKS England Squad, which he has proudly represented for the past few years.

His recent achievements include:

• Silver Medal – Individual Kata (JKS European Cup, Denmark 2025)

• Bronze Medal – Team Kumite (JKS European Cup, Denmark 2025)

• Multiple medals at Central England International, BKF, and other national competitions

This event brings together some of the best karate athletes from across the globe, and being selected is a huge honour for Jakob. Competing on this stage will not only help him grow as an athlete but also inspire other young martial artists.
