Support Young Changemakers in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement

SINA Loketa is a refugee-led initiative in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement, northern Uganda, the largest refugee settlement in Africa, home to over 250,000 people.

We’re part of the SINA (Social Innovation Academy) network, which helps marginalised youth become job creators by launching community-based social enterprises.

Scholars here are turning their challenges into community-driven social enterprises, addressing issues like malaria prevention, skin diseases, plastic waste, dental health, and more.

Now they need just a little capital to move forward.

Here is one example of the successful enterprises that have come out of SINA Loketa already: Eco Shoes, providing footwear for school children who cannot afford it.

(1) We are looking to raise 500€ to provide prototyping capital at 100€ each for 5 Teams.

(2) We are looking for 1500€ to provide 5 Startup Teams with 300€ in capital to accelerate their enterprises. They use this money to improve their first products, launch marketing strategies, and drive impact in their community.
