Leslie's son, Prince, is the type of child every parent hopes for. He is respectful, intelligent, kind, determined, and dreams of becoming an artist one day. He is a very talented artist and has been drawing since his toddler years. He is also in the 8th grade and excelling at his new school despite the challenges they are facing.

Since arriving in Florida, Leslie has faced a series of unexpected hardships that have made this move much more difficult than expected as a single mom. While trying to secure a safe home for her son, she was scammed out of money for an apartment that was later declared uninhabitable by code enforcement. Instead of gaining the stability she hoped for, for her son, she has instead been met with difficult circumstances.

Leslie is continuously working hard to fight for her son’s future despite her own personal challenges. She lives with nerve damage and chronic pain, which limits her ability to work. Despite this, she continues to push through each day due to the unwavering love and commitment she has for her son.

The funds raised will go directly towards providing her son with more stability, including food on the table, reliable transportation, and continued safe living arrangements. This will allow both Leslie and her son the peace of mind needed to help them feel more stable and help them stay committed to their goals.
