Hi everyone,

My name is Yoselin, and I'm currently in my final year of undergrad at UCLA, majoring in geography and environmental studies with a minor in systems and societies. I'm working hard to finish my degree and prepare for graduate school applications, but I've recently faced a major challenge that I can't handle on my own.

I need to undergo a medical procedure that is essential for my health and well-being. Unfortunately, the costs associated with this procedure are more than I can afford at this time, as I am a full-time student. I’ve been focused on my education and future, but I’ve reached a point where I need to prioritize my health in order to be ready for the next step in my academic journey.

Balancing school, my fellowship responsibilities, my active involvement as an alumni member of many organizations, applications for graduate programs, and medical needs has been overwhelming both emotionally and financially. Asking for help is not easy for me, but I know I need to do this with support. That's why I'm turning to my community, friends, and anyone who can support.
