Yoon Conner serves as the Agape Collective leader at the Korean Presbyterian Church of Fresno, and I want to support his dedication in a meaningful way. Agape Collective is a new Korean ministry dedicated to individuals who can relate to Korean and American culture, as well as those who are curious about exploring faith within that cultural context. As a new ministry (only a month old), the budget is tight, but Yoon works tirelessly every week to create a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone who walks through the doors.

Yoon is an incredibly generous and caring individual. He often buys meals for others and goes out of his way to take care of those around him. Even when he is tired, Yoon is patient and always ready to lend an ear to anyone in need. His selflessness and compassion have touched many lives within the community, making him a true pillar of support. Yoon has such a big heart that he’s housing me rent-free so I can continue paying off my school loans and save money. This act of kindness has made a huge difference in my life and is just one example of how Yoon goes above and beyond for others.

Before the first ministry meeting, Yoon dedicated countless late nights to building the Agape Collective website, often coding until 1 or 2 am every night that week. His commitment and hard work ensured that the ministry would have a strong foundation and a welcoming online presence from the very beginning.

One of the unique ways Yoon has fostered interactions is by hosting pickleball events. These gatherings have brought many people, including myself, into the sport and have helped create an even stronger sense of community. Through these events, friendships have grown and the bonds within Agape Collective have deepened, making the ministry feel like a true family.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward supporting Agape Collective’s events, retreats, food, outreach efforts, and the overall yearly budget. Every dollar will help Yoon and the ministry to continue to build a vibrant and inclusive community where people can connect, learn, and grow together in faith and friendship.

Yoon’s journey is truly inspiring—he was an atheist, but thanks to the warmth and faith of the KPCF community, he recently became a born-again Christian. Now, he feels called to serve and provide the same safe space for others to come to Christ through Agape Collective.
