Yonas is a beloved member of our family whose life changed in an instant. At just 20 years old, he suffered a severe traumatic brain injury after intruders broke into the home he shared with his mom and committed gun violence. The incident has left him facing a long and challenging road to recovery, and our family is doing everything we can to support him through this difficult time.

Currently, Yonas is in a rehabilitation center where he is receiving the care he needs to begin healing. His recovery is going to be incredibly hard, requiring months—if not years—of therapy and support.
