Hello, I am Luana Turner Jefferson. I hope this message finds you well. I am writing today with a heartfelt request to support my sister-in-law, Yolonda Jefferson-Perry, Mrs. JP, as her 5th-grade students call her. On Sunday, February 16, 2025, Yolonda suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. This devastating event has left her facing significant challenges, both medically and financially.

Yolonda is a kind, loving, and resilient individual who has always put the needs of others before her own. Now, she needs our support more than ever. As part of her recovery, it is essential to remodel the basement of her home to create a safe and accessible living space that will allow her to continue her rehabilitation journey and regain her independence.

The cost of remodeling the basement is substantial, and our family is reaching out to our community for assistance. We are aiming to raise $15,000 to cover the expenses of this project, which include:

• Installing a wheelchair-accessible entrance

• Modifying the bathroom to accommodate her needs
