We are reaching out to ask for your urgent support, prayers, and mutual aid for our beloved friend, Yolanda, also known as Miss Dulla.

Yolanda has been fighting an incredibly difficult health battle in the ICU and critical care. Her illness has been life altering.

After being transferred from Washington Hospital Center to GW Hospital for specialized care, she has now undergone lung surgery. While we are incredibly grateful that this critical step is behind her, she still faces a brain procedure in the future and a very long, demanding road to recovery ahead.

Yolanda is the absolute anchor of her family. She is the full-time, primary caretaker for her five beautiful grandchildren. She pours all of her love, energy, resources, and life into raising them.

Now that she is in the hospital fighting for her health, her family is not only carrying the weight of a medical crisis, but also navigating the immense challenge of managing a household of five children without their cornerstone.

Yolanda has always been there for everyone else. Now, it is our turn to surround her and her grandchildren with the support and relief they desperately need.

Support for the 5 Grandchildren: Ensuring the children have everything they need. Meals, daily essentials, and stable care—while their grandmother is hospitalized and recovering at home.

Family Support & Caregiver Aid: Helping her loved ones cover transportation to and from GW Hospital and household expenses so they can keep things stable for the kids.
