Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

I’m reaching out to you today with a mix of emotions - sadness for the challenges my best friend Yolanda Mike is facing, but also with a hopeful spirit that together, we can make a difference in her journey.

Yolanda has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, and her path ahead is daunting. She had to start chemotherapy around Christmas last year, adding an extra layer of difficulty during what should have been a time of joy and celebration. Yolanda is a loving mother to four children, one of whom is in middle school, and her diagnosis has turned their world upside down.

Despite the challenges she faces, Yolanda has shown incredible strength and resilience. She’s already endured grueling rounds of chemotherapy, but now faces the prospect of a double mastectomy followed by further radiation and more chemotherapy treatments.
