My name is Cynthia, and I’m raising funds for Yohanna, a dear friend who supported my family when we lived in the DR. Today, her son Albieris (Jimbo) is battling leukemia, and she needs our support. Now it’s our turn to show up for her. Every contribution makes a difference.

About Yohanna:

Today we are coming together to support someone deeply loved by many—Yohanna Rodríguez, a devoted mother who has always shown up for others with generosity and strength.

Yohanna is now facing one of the most difficult moments of her life. Her son, Albieris “Jimbo” Barriento, age 21, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia on March 18, 2026.

Since then, Jimbo has undergone multiple blood transfusions, extensive testing, and hospitalizations. He is currently receiving chemotherapy and ongoing care.

Yohanna has had to stop working to care for her son. She is also the mother of a 10-year-old child with special needs, and the family is grieving the recent loss of her brother in a tragic accident.

Jimbo is also a loving father to his 2-year-old daughter, Yizmary Isabella Barriento.

We are asking our community to come together. Funds will support medical expenses, treatment, transportation, and essential needs.
