On the morning of January 27, 2026, my husband, Yobel Reyes, was wrongfully detained by ICE at the Autozone in Compton, California. He fully cooperated, did not resist, and informed officers that he has an active immigration case with USCIS, including an approved petition. Despite this, he was taken into custody.

His detention was sudden, terrifying, and has shattered our family.

I am now urgently seeking a detention and immigration attorney to fight for my husband’s release and to prove that he should not have been detained. Legal help is our only hope—but it comes at a cost we cannot afford alone.

I am the sole provider for our four children, one of whom has serious medical needs. Losing my husband so unexpectedly has left us emotionally devastated and financially overwhelmed.

We are asking for $15,000 to cover:
