YMIR Group is a student-led think tank dedicated to amplifying youth voices in research and policy dialogue across Eastern Europe. Founded on collaboration and curiosity, our initiative brings together passionate students and young thinkers from Kyiv, Belgrade, Bucharest, and beyond. We are united by the drive to contribute meaningful research, publish early-stage analysis, and gain the peer-review experience needed to transition into professional academic, governmental, and policy-oriented careers.
Our central mission is to create a platform where youth perspectives are taken seriously, while steadily building the credibility and networks required to evolve into a lasting, legitimate institution. YMIR Group is based Belgrade, with plans on network expansion into Kyiv and Bucharest. While we currently have seven active members, we are actively searching for more students in Political Science, Computer Science, AI, Government, Economics and related fields. We are already hard at work on two ambitious projects that reflect our commitment to impactful research and collaboration.
Right now, we urgently need support to register as an NGO in Serbia and launch a marketing campaign to secure contracts and establish ourselves as a legitimate program. With myself and our chief communications officer overseeing the use of funds, every contribution will help us take the next step toward building a credible, sustainable organization.
