Support YMCA Staff during Pandemic Closure

YMCA Leaders are furloughed for the duration of the pandemic closure. They will be able to use whatever vacation they have available, but not their sick leave. This will be an immense hardship for the people who keep our kids safe and thriving throughout the year. They will lose their insurance after one month.
You should have already received an email that your child(ren)'s YMCA fees will be prorated.
We are all being hit in various ways by this crisis. Many of us are lucky enough to have jobs that will continue pay us. If you have the financial ability to do so, please put those prorated costs back to our leaders to ensure they can pay their bills and care for their own families.
This GoFundMe includes all the directors, assistant directors, leaders, and leader aides in the El Camino YMCA area for 4 weeks. If the pandemic closure goes beyond the month, we will reassess our efforts.
