Hey! Thanks for visiting our page! We are raising funds for Yeşua Özçelik to be able to participate in the Faraday Institute for Science and Religion’s 2025 summer course, for which he was granted a partial scholarship, and to make a second trip in the fall to stay at Tyndale House and network with philosophers and theologians in the Cambridge community. Both these institutions want to assist Yeşua's growth as a Christian thinker in Turkey. But the costs of a visa, airplane tickets, and various expenses he will incur during his stay are far above his means. Would you partner with Yeşua to help him make these two trips in 2025 so that he might learn, network, and pursue future partnership in scholarship with the community of Christian thinkers in the UK?
For those of you who may not be personally acquainted:
Yeşua is currently working on his Ph.D. in Philosophy of Religion at Istanbul University within a faculty of Islamic theology. Presently, he is in the dissertation phase of his academic journey, researching and writing on natural theology in the patristic period - and Augustine in particular. He frequently gives seminars and webinars on topics such as the historical Jesus, Christianity philosophy of religion, Christian philosophical religion, and the claims of the Holy Scriptures, examining their logical and philosophical consistency. His courage and dedication are inspiring to many believers in Turkey and respected by those who follow Yeşua in Turkish philosophy of religion circles.
