Yesterday night on February 18th, Lake Howell 11th grader Yeshua Clavijo was hit by a car on Redbug Road at night while he was biking his way home. He suffered many injuries, including a completely broken leg and torn meniscus that requires surgery and stitches, a concussion, and bleeding on his leg, forehead, and back. Right now, Yeshua is in surgery, and our family is anxiously waiting and hoping for his recovery. Yeshua is an athlete who enjoys playing basketball with his friends, weightlifting, and going to the gym. He is a kind and loving person, and seeing him go through this is heartbreaking for everyone who knows him especially his cousins and family. His mom especially is by his side, doing everything she can to support him during this difficult time.
The costs of the ambulance, surgery, and ongoing medical care are adding up quickly. The financial burden is more than his mom can handle alone, and we are reaching out to our community for help. Yeshua’s friends and family are all doing everything they can so he can have a smooth recovery while paying off the bills. Every dollar raised will go directly toward covering these urgent medical expenses and making sure Yeshua gets the care he needs to recover. Anything helps, and our family appreciates all and any support whether it's a donation, sharing this GoFundMe, or simply sending Yoshi your prayers and encouragement. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to us, and we are deeply grateful for any help you can offer during this challenging time.
