Support Yesenia's Stroke Recovery
Donation protected
On May 5th, my sister, Yesenia Rodriguez, suffered a life-threatening stroke. She was rushed to a nearby hospital in San Antonio, Texas, where she began receiving urgent treatment to help her recover. Due to the severity of the stroke, she underwent emergency brain surgery late on the night of May 16th as a final effort to save her life.
Thankfully, the operation was successful - not only saving her life, but also preserving the future of her children, who still have their mother thanks to this miracle. Though the situation was terrifying and overwhelming for all of us who love Yesenia, during my time with her in the hospital, she radiated the same joyful, resilient spirit I’ve always known her to have.
Yesenia is a single mother of three - a 13-year-old son and two daughters, ages 4 and 1. The family is now facing significant financial stress due to mounting hospital bills. Her children are her world, just as she is theirs. Without Yesenia, they wouldn’t have their mother by their side.
Any support - no matter the size - can make a meaningful difference for Yesenia Rodriguez and her children as they work toward healing and returning to a sense of normalcy after this life-altering event.
