Yayo is a kindhearted, hardworking individual who has lost everything in the flood in Franklin County, KY. His home has reached flood waters above the roof, making it a total loss. Yayo was away on 'storm' in Michigan when this happened, serving communities by assisting in the restoration of power. He received a phone call from his wife letting him know that the flood waters were entering his home, where she was left alone with their children, including a newborn baby. She was only able to grab absolute necessities, which left them without their home and nearly all of their belongings. They were left with the clothes on their backs, even suffering the loss of their family dog.
Yayo is a coworker to my husband, Blake, where they have worked together for nearly two years. He is incredibly hardworking and would never ask for a penny even in a situation such as this. We are only able to do so much to help and were trying to figure out a way that we could do more for him while he waits for insurance and other resources at this time. Any and all donations will be given directly to him and his family so that they may be able to have one less worry during this difficult time.
Thank you for reading, and from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for donating. Our heart is truly broken for all the people that have been affected by this disaster.
