Help Yaya Nida Walk Without Pain Again
It’s not easy for us to ask for help. But today, we’re asking from the deepest place in our hearts.
Yaya Nida is 71 years old from the Philippines. She has spent her life caring for others — as our second mom, friend, and steady source of love and strength to everyone around her. She’s the kind of woman who shows up. The kind who sacrifices quietly. The kind who never complains, even when she’s hurting.
Right now, she’s hurting.
Over the past several months, her mobility has declined dramatically due to severe orthopedic issues. Simple things most of us take for granted — standing in the kitchen, walking to the patio, getting in and out of bed — have become daily battles.
The pain is constant. The loss of independence has been heartbreaking to witness.
Her doctors have confirmed that she urgently needs orthopedic surgery to restore her mobility and prevent further complications. This surgery would give her relief from pain, a chance to walk safely again, and most importantly, her independence back.
Unfortunately, even with insurance, the out-of-pocket costs for the procedure, hospital stay, rehabilitation, and follow-up care are overwhelming. Our financial source doesn’t stretch far enough to cover these unexpected medical expenses.
We are asking for your help.
Every donation — no matter the amount — moves her closer to relief, healing, and dignity. If you’re unable to give financially, sharing this campaign would mean the world to us.
She has given so much of herself throughout her life. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring. And thank you for helping us give Yaya Nida the chance to walk into this next chapter of her life without pain.
With gratitude and hope,
Katrina
