Support Yasmine's Fight Against Lupus
Donation protected
My name is Yasmine. I’ve recently been diagnosed with Lupus in April. My mom had lupus and lost her battle in 2011 when I was just 16. I’ve been out of work since the diagnosis, which has caused me to fall behind on my car payment ($2500) while keeping up with the other major bills while medical bills and copays pile up. It’s been a rough journey.
Going back and forth to doctor's appointments, specialists, and physical therapy two times a week has been challenging. I’m not one to ask for any help because I’ve always figured it out, but honestly, I can’t find the answer this time. No one knows I’ve been diagnosed with lupus except some immediate family members.
My car is how I get back and forth to appointments and take my son to school and pick him up. He goes to Union Academy and he loves it. I just want to be able to keep him in there while staying on top of my health. Even if you can’t donate, just share. You never know who may see this. Even if it’s a cheap paid-off car, I’ll take it. It doesn’t matter what kind of help it is, I’ll take it. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
