Support Yashvi's Food Allergy Donation Program - LA Fires

Hi y'all! Yashvi here with the Food Allergy Donation Matching Program.

I am a UCLA grad missing Los Angeles terribly post-grad, and I am spearheading an effort to support the city that is my forever home.

The LA fires have been devastating on their own, but there are intersecting difficulties that our community members are facing. Folks with food allergies, dietary restrictions, and food-related disabilities need our love and support. LA has shown UP for the community with food donations, but not many places have been catering specifically to food allergies.

As someone with severe food allergies myself, I know how terrifying it can be on a daily basis. Add on a disaster taking away your home and community, and it becomes an absolute nightmare.

I can't imagine ignoring the needs of my fellow community members with food allergies. So, I am raising funds to support this cause. ALL funds will go to buying safe and allergy-friendly foods for the people who fill out the form, according to the allergies they list. Any remaining funds down the line not used to buy food will go directly toward evacuees with food allergies to fund their food needs.
