Support Yar's Husband and Twins After Tragedy

Yar Koporulin, A wonderful DC Artist, Husband to John and father of two sets of young twins passed away on Saturday, October 24th, 2020 from complications due to lung cancer. Yar received his diagnosis of lung cancer on the day his second set of twins were born. This Go Fund Me campaign has been set up to support John, now a single parent to four young children, facing the challenges of COVID and grieving the loss of his partner of over twenty years.

Yar graduated from the MFA program at American University in 2017. Following his graduation, he became an active member of the faculty, teaching drawing and working as a printmaker and professional artist. This campaign has been set up by Danielle Mysliwiec, the Program Director of the Studio Art Department at American University with the permission of John.
